I’m Mariyah, some people call me Rya- a local Massachusetts girl whose been a hairstylist for 9 years. I’m based in South Boston at House of Ivy, where I run my extension business, also offering full-service salon work.

Since the beginning of my career, I’ve been drawn to the big transformations— the kind of work most stylists shy away from. From bold chops and intricate color corrections to high fashion looks, I’ve always loved creating dramatic changes that bring out confidence and individuality.

A few years ago, I discovered my true passion: extensions. I immersed myself in everything I could— signing myself up for tons of education and refining my craft through hands on experience and getting certified in different methods. Today I specialize in K-Tips and sew in wefts, because I believe when they are done correctly, they deliver incredible results without compromising your natural hair.

What matters most to me is your experience in my chair. I care deeply about the health of your hair, your comfort during the process, and making sure you leave with not just amazing results, but the knowledge to maintain them. I love educating clients, customizing each install to fit your lifestyle, and using techniques that enhance- not damage- your natural hair.

Im also proud to serve as an educator at House of Ivy, where I share my knowledge and passion for extensions with other stylists.
